Digital Learning Environment in Higher Education: New Global Issues

Research background: Living in a digitalized connected world changes the dynamic of learning process. Recent issues economy and society have increased demand for online education drastically. But many enterprises higher find themselves unprepared to satisfy this effectively because digital is relatively new under-researched field especially regarding instruments social aspects. For study we adopted connectivism theory proposed by George Siemens 2005 together with “old” behaviourism, cognitivism, constructivism put forward Ertmer Newby 1993. Purpose article: The intended investigate elements process using student feedback suggest ways improve quality based on theories applied environment. Methods: A total 2347 university students participated study. Data were collected through an survey analysed use SPSS software. Findings & Value added: revealed that pinpoint three groups problems learning: getting form tutor peers; concentration self-management; technical difficulties staying connected. paper studies theoretical background problematic areas proposes tools their improvement.
